The Sant'Anna School joins the "Day of Universities" ("Giornata delle Università") established by the CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors) under the patronage of the Ministry of Universities and Research. For the 2024 edition, scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, "Universities Unveiled" ("Università Svelate") has become the title: the aim is to share and publicize the "scientific and cultural heritage that the academic community produces for the society that supports it", as the CRUI emphasizes in presenting this initiative, which falls in coincidence with the "International Day of Happiness" ("Giornata internazionale della Felicità") and within the "Week of Minerva" ("Settimana della Minerva"), a period dedicated to the celebration of knowledge and education.

To participate in the "Day of Universities - Universities Unveiled," the Sant'Anna School has chosen a multimedia approach, presenting numerous videos that make up a palimpsest, projected on a videowall installed near the entrance to its headquarters, at 33 Martiri della Libertà Square in Pisa.

The palimpsest alternates video contributions on education, research, third mission and strategic projects such as "Africa Connect," featuring the recent cross-sector trip of students to Ethiopia, and on the second edition of the web series "Fantastic Researchers and Where to Find Them"

"The Sant'Anna School - says Rector Sabina Nuti - is pleased to join the 'Day of the Universities' and meet with future students and the entire citizenry, who want to learn more about the contribution of universities to the 'Country System'. Through our videos, Sant'Anna School is ready to tell the many stories that involve its community. The hope is that, in this way, we can strengthen even more the relationship with the world around us: only through cohesion with the world around us can scientific research find stimulation and become an ingredient to bring more and more impact on society."
